I've tried basically every free VPN out there. They all either throttle you to unusable speeds, inject ads into pages, or get caught selling browsing data. Spokojstvo is different in a way I can actually feel — the connection is fast enough to stream, there are no injected scripts, and the app is dead simple. I use the Frankfurt server mostly and I'm getting consistent speeds. The fact that the protocol is Shadowsocks means it's actually well-tested technology, not some in-house thing they made up. Genuinely the first free VPN I've recommended to friends without immediately adding a "but..."

Clean, minimal, does what it says. I use it when I'm on hotel WiFi. Set up took about 30 seconds. No account creation, no email address — I like that a lot.

Good privacy policy, actually readable. The only thing I'd want is a kill switch — if the VPN drops I'd rather my traffic stop than leak. Raised it with them and apparently it's on the roadmap. Minus one star for now, will update when it ships.

Living in a country with heavy internet censorship. Spokojstvo is one of the few things that actually works consistently. Shadowsocks is good at avoiding deep packet inspection. Thank you for making this free.

I travel for work constantly. I've been through ExpressVPN, NordVPN, Mullvad. For what I actually need — a clean IP and encrypted traffic on public WiFi — Spokojstvo does the job perfectly and costs nothing. The app stays out of my way.

Speed on the NY server was inconsistent at first — had some packet loss issues. Emailed them and they actually responded and said there was an infrastructure issue that week. Checked back a few days later and it's been fine since. Appreciate the honesty.

Been using for two weeks, speeds are solid on the Seoul node. Streaming without issues. Surprised this is free honestly — most paid VPNs perform worse.

My previous VPN got caught in a data breach. Switched here because there's almost nothing to breach — no account, no password, no email. The peer ID is just a random string. Good thinking on the architecture.

Works well, Frankfurt server is fast from Warsaw. Would like more EU server locations but Amsterdam helps. Four stars — missing a few features the paid options have but for free I genuinely can't complain.

Does exactly what it promises. I just want my ISP to not see everything I do. This handles it. Simple download, connects automatically, I forget it's there. That's all I want from a VPN.
