Privacy is not a feature.
It is the default.
No accounts. No logs. No compromises.
Besplatan VPN bez registracije i bez logova.
Privatnost nije opcija — to je podrazumevano.
xattr -cr /Applications/Spokojstvo.app — then try launching again.
One DMG file. Drag to Applications. No system extensions, no kernel drivers, no admin password needed after install.
Launch the app. Press CONNECT. That's it. The orb turns green. Your traffic is now encrypted and routed through your chosen exit location.
Every browser, every app. Your IP is masked. Your traffic is encrypted end-to-end. Works automatically in the background.
We do not record your IP address, browsing history, DNS queries, or connection timestamps. Nothing to hand over, nothing to leak.
VerifiedMilitary-grade AEAD cipher. The same encryption standard used by Signal and TLS 1.3. Authenticated, tamper-proof, fast.
ChaCha20-Poly1305Choose your exit node. New servers are added automatically — no app update needed. Your app always has the latest list.
Loading…No trials. No credit card. No subscription tiers. Spokojstvo is free because privacy should not be a luxury product.
No catch"A rare free VPN that actually respects users. No dark patterns, no upsells, no data harvesting — just a clean connection."
"Spokojstvo is the first free VPN we've seen in years that we'd recommend without caveats. The privacy policy is short because there's genuinely nothing to hide."
"Punches well above its price point — which is zero. The Shadowsocks implementation is solid and the no-account model is a genuine differentiator."
Yes — completely free, with no hidden tiers, no trial periods, and no credit card required. We operate on a community model: users who run the desktop app optionally share a small amount of bandwidth as an exit node, which helps sustain the network. You benefit from others doing the same. There is no premium version and no features locked behind a paywall.
No. We do not log browsing history, DNS queries, traffic content, or connection timestamps. The only data we store is a peer ID (a random string assigned to your device), your platform (macOS or Windows), and your IP address — which is needed for connection routing and is deleted after 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.
Spokojstvo uses Shadowsocks — an open-source, audited proxy protocol originally designed to resist deep packet inspection. When you connect, your traffic is encrypted with ChaCha20-IETF-Poly1305 on your device, tunnelled to one of our exit servers (New York, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, or Seoul), and exits there. Websites see the server's IP address, not yours.
Yes. ChaCha20-IETF-Poly1305 is a modern authenticated encryption cipher used by major protocols including TLS 1.3 and WireGuard. It is fast, resistant to timing attacks, and provides strong confidentiality and integrity guarantees. Shadowsocks itself is open-source and has been independently reviewed. We do not intercept, inspect, or store your traffic.
Most paid VPNs charge because they have marketing budgets, investor expectations, and large corporate overhead. We have none of that. Spokojstvo was built by a small team of engineers who wanted a genuinely private VPN that didn't treat users as a product. Infrastructure costs are kept low through efficient architecture. We accept voluntary donations but will never require payment or sell data to offset costs.
There is always some overhead when routing traffic through an additional server. In practice most users see a 10–20% reduction in raw throughput, which is imperceptible for browsing and streaming. Speed depends on your distance to the chosen exit node — Frankfurt and Amsterdam are fastest for European users, New York for the Americas, Seoul for East Asia. We don't artificially throttle connections.
VPNs are legal in the vast majority of countries. A small number of countries restrict or ban VPN use — including China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, and a few others. It is your responsibility to understand the laws in your jurisdiction. Using a VPN does not make illegal activity legal; it only provides network-level privacy for lawful use.
macOS: Drag Spokojstvo.app from Applications to Trash. To remove config files: open Terminal and run rm -rf ~/.spokojstvo. The LaunchAgent is removed automatically.
